Nevada Busted Mugshots is a private guide, not a government office. We cannot confirm anyone's custody, release, or case outcome, retrieve records, or provide or remove a booking photo. The agency or court that created a record is the source that can answer those questions.
Choose the Record Holder
Start with the kind of record and the custody layer. Nevada has county booking systems, separate trial courts, a state corrections system, and federal and immigration locators. The right office depends on where the arrest occurred and what happened afterward.
- County booking, jail custody, or a local booking photo: use the County Directory to reach the county guide and the responsible sheriff, police agency, jail, or records unit. Local custody and photo access vary by county.
- Case status or disposition: contact the clerk of the court handling the case. Nevada has separate trial, justice, municipal, and appellate court systems; the Nevada courts case-search guidance explains where online records can be found. The Nevada courts self-help site also links to court resources.
- State-prison custody or an NDOC record: check the official NDOC Offender Search. For a state record the locator does not show, use the NDOC Records and Information request route.
- Federal prison custody: use the Bureau of Prisons Inmate Locator. It covers federal prison custody, not county bookings, and its public locator does not provide mugshots.
- Immigration detention: use the official ICE Online Detainee Locator. ICE custody is separate from county jail and state-prison records.
- A wanted-list tip: follow the instructions on the Nevada State Police Most Wanted entry. Do not approach or try to detain anyone shown. For an immediate emergency, call 911.
A booking entry reports an arrest or intake event, not guilt. For an official copy or a later case outcome, ask the records custodian or the court clerk directly.
